BIOGRAPHY
Sean Dias has over thirty-two (32) years of extensive experience representing private and public sector clients from the perspective of management on a wide variety of labor and employment matters, including claims under State and Federal laws pertaining to discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful discharge, employee leaves, disability, wage and hour violations, charges of unfair labor practices, restrictive covenants and employee terminations and disciplinary actions.
Sean has also served as counsel to corporations, counties, educational institutions and numerous municipalities on issues concerning employee disciplines, interpretation of Collective Bargaining Agreements, ADA compliance, workplace harassment and discrimination, drug testing, wrongful discharge, labor arbitrations, retaliation, bullying, and employee leaves. He has also served as lead counsel in collective bargaining negotiations. Sean has worked with management to develop employee handbooks and policies, investigated claims under laws against discrimination and have conducted in-house training seminars for employers on various employment practices geared to minimize the potential for litigation. Sean is admitted to practice law in New Jersey and New York.
