Biography

Megan H. McMurtrie is an associate at Semeraro & Fahrney and a member of the firm's Litigation Practice Group.

Prior to joining Semeraro & Fahrney, Megan served as a judicial law clerk for two years in the Passaic County Superior Court, for the Honorable Miguel de la Carrera from 2022 to 2023, and for the Honorable Marilyn C. Clark from 2023 to 2024.

Megan holds a Juris Doctorate from Rutgers Law School, where she served in the Health and Education Clinic as an advocate for elementary through high school students with learning disabilities. She also founded and served as the president of the Rutgers Disabled Law Students Association.

During law school Megan gained valuable experience through her internship at Disability Rights New Jersey and by serving as a research assistant to Professor Jon Dubin while writing his book, Social Security Disability Law and the American Labor Market.

Megan graduated from Drew University, where she earned her bachelor's degree in Political Science with a minor in Italian Language and Culture. She also spent a semester studying at the United Nations where she attended conferences on global policy, was lectured by diplomats, and attended meetings at Non-Governmental Organizations.
