Partners Mark Semeraro and Scott Fahrney have successfully secured a $1,700,000 settlement on behalf of their client, Elizabeth Biron, who was severely and permanently injured when the vehicle she was riding in was rear-ended.
On August 9, 2019, Ms. Biron was a seat belted passenger in 2017 Dodge 1500 Truck while stopped at the intersection of Route 206 and Goodale Road in Andover, NJ. While waiting for a vehicle to make a left hand turn ahead of them, a 2005 GMC 250 Commercial vehicle, violently crashed into the rear of the vehicle at an incredibly high rate of speed.
As a result of the accident, Ms. Biron sustained severe and permanent injuries, including a comminuted fracture of her left femur which required her to be airlifted to the hospital and undergo emergency surgery to install a rod in her leg. Furthermore, Ms. Biron suffered several muscular and spinal injuries during the healing process, necessitating a long and arduous rehabilitation of her injuries.
